Your Difference is Your Fortune, states Ter Scott, the author of The Chicken that Soared.

Here is the audio of my presentation I did at a Toastmaster's group in Texas. There are three principles I covered which I took from my book, The Chicken that Soared. The main principle I present is that fact that our difference is our fortune.

Your Difference is Your Fortune is also a book which will be out soon. Would you like to know when? Would you like to get a discounted price? Would like to be part of the launch before, during and shortly after it's released to the public? Simply request it by using the contact form on this page.

By the way, I'm still inviting people to join our prelaunch team and am still offering a free digital book for all who do. Get details here

Recognize Your Difference, is one success principle states Ter Scott, author of The Chicken that Soared.

Promote Ter Scott's The Chicken that Soared book launch and share the excitement...

Be a part of history! A new classic is about to be born, The Chicken that Soared will be published soon and you can be part of the excitement!

If you don't know it yet, there has already been a lot of hoopla about my soon to be published book, The Chicken that Soared. Today's Fable for Finding Your True Destiny. My name is Ter Scott and I'm the Life and Legacy Coach. I wanted a way to help people from young and old to be made aware that they have a destiny and the sooner they start on their destiny path, the sooner things go better for them. They don't have to work so hard to get what they desire in life because they were born to do, what they were built for and what they truly are meant to do.

I found this in this story of a young eaglet hatched in a family of chickens who could see he was different but thought he was a "different" one of them. I think that it is a great story of dreams, struggles and victory but of course, I wrote it. I want to give you the digital copy of it absolutely free!

I will be publishing the book soon and I'm inviting my fans to help promote the book launch. I need people who will promote the book that day and all week on their social media. I'll be sure that you'll get a copy of the cover art and link to the Amazon page. Anyone who uses the Contact Form on this page and says they would like to promote the book during the day and week launch, will get their name in the book on the thank you page!!!

Plus, you'll get a free digital version of the book. (So you can read it quick and leave your review).

Then, for all of these people who leave a review (honest review please, of 3 to 5; if you can't stand the book then please don't leave a review) I will send a link to get a free audio version!!!

On day one it will be priced at 99 cents.

On day two, $1.99

On day three, $2.99

On day four and five, $3.99

After day five, it will be $4.99; which is the regular price.

They'll be more cool stuff for everyone who helps with the launch but for now, know that you'll get your name in the book, a free digital version and when you leave a review you'll get the free audio version.

So use the Contact Form right now and let me know you want to help with the launch.

Thanks in advance for your help!

BTW, if you want to let me know if I should use a border on the cover (as shown above) or not have a b border, let me know here: https://asiwasreading.blogspot.com/2020/11/find-your-true-calling-purpose-and.html.

Chapter 2:

Breaking News

Mother Chicken thought that maybe old Farmer Frank found Egg Five and placed it in her care. Mother Chicken loved all of her eggs, One, Two, Three, Four, and now Five because that is what moms do. But Egg Five’s loud snoring sometimes kept her awake.

One day, Egg One hatched and Mother Chicken was right; out came a beautiful, fluffy yellow chick. It peeped.

The next day, Egg Two hatched and Mother Chicken was right again. Out came another beautiful fluffy yellow chick. It “peep-peeped”.

On the next day, both Egg Three and Egg Four hatched. Mother Chicken was again right. Two beautiful young fluffy yellow chicks popped out of their shells. Chick three went “peep-peep-peep”, and Chick Four went “peep-peep-peep-peep”; and Chick Four insisted on wearing part of his shell for a hat.

They were all fluffy yellow. They were all the same size. And there sure was a lot of “peeping” going on.

Mother Chicken thought that now was a good time to invite the farm friends to come and see her four new arrivals.

Soon everyone was there; except for Pinky who was busy with her own new babies. Timothy Turkey, and Up and Down looked on in wide eyed amazement. Brutus and Ink Spot with daughter Mini looked in through an open window.  Ink Spot expressed Pinky’s “congrats” in her absence. Mary the mare found another window and her son; Stevey peered through a broken wallboard of the hen house.

Wormy spied the celebration for Chick One, Chick Two, Chick Three, and Chick Four from the safety of his dark corner.

“What about the Oddball?” asked Stevey,  which caused his mother Mary to nudge him disapprovingly.

One by one everyone was soon gone leaving Mother Chicken alone again with her four “peepers” and she admitted that she also was wondering when Egg Five’s arrival would be.

Then, Chick One, Chick Two, Chick Three, and Chick Four peeped. “Peep”, “peep-peep”, “peep-peep-peep”, and “peep-peep-peep-peep”. Egg Five just stood there, and … snored.

Egg Five did not hatch on day four or day five. It just snored. Egg Five snored while Chick One, Chick Two, Chick Three and Chick Four peeped. This went on most all day and every day. As if in one of Up and Down’s musical plays, together they went “Peep”, “Peep-peep”, “Peep-peep-peep”, and “Peep-peep-peep-peep” and then, “Snore”.

The sun rose on Day Six with Daddy Rooster’s crowing in the distance. Egg Five did not hatch. It just snored after the peeping of Chick One, Chick Two, Chick Three and Chick Four. Again, they all went “Peep”, “Peep-peep”, “Peep-peep-peep”, and “Peep-peep-peep-peep” and … “Snore”.

Egg Five did not even hatch on day eight or on day nine! So the same daily chorus played, “Peep”, “Peep-peep”, “Peep-peep-peep”, and “Peep-peep-peep-peep” followed by “Snore”.

Mother Chicken was a very good mother. She never got tired of all the peeping; or the snoring. But she was beginning to think that this was becoming a very long time to hatch even this big, snoring, egg!

Finally, on day ten, Egg Five started to move.

Stevey, who had his head poked in the broken wallboard almost every day hoping to be the first to see the big egg hatch, was asked by Mother Chicken to go and get everyone.

Soon all were all there; Timothy Turkey, Up and Down, Brutus, Ink Spot, and Mini. This time Pinky was there with each of her little piglets. Led by Parks, a piglet wearing a stocking cap, they each introduced themselves to Chick One, Chick Two, Chick Three and Chick Four. They then went back to Mother Pinky as this seemed to be a safe distance from the “moving” egg.

“It’s the egg… the big one”, said Up, of the Up and Down Cat dual. “Yeah, it’s crackin’ up,” said Down. These two enjoyed word games like that and often later used it as new material in one of their shows.

It was indeed, “Egg Five” who seemed having waited for an audience before really getting into action. Almost on cue, when everyone was there and Mother Chicken quieted everyone, just then, things really started to happen.

Egg Five rolled. Then Egg Five turned. And then… Egg Five started to craaaaack!

After moving, rolling, turning, cracking, and snoring a bit more…with one big crack, Egg Five… finally broke open.

Chick One, Chick Two, Chick Three and Chick Four all stopped their peeping. The entire “audience” was absolutely “spellbound”.

There, sitting in half a broken shell, rocked the biggest, and the oddest looking chicken, that was ever hatched in Farmer Frank’s henhouse!

Chick Five was not fluffy yellow like his siblings; he was more of a fluffy white color with a kind of grey around his dark eyes. Chick Five was also much larger than they were too. Chick Five also had a longer neck and longer legs.

Looking at Mother Chicken, everyone saw that she loved him right away! Mother Chicken announced, “You are the cutest looking chick that I have ever seen!”

And, Chick Five didn’t peep. Chick Five squealed!

Mother Chicken then thanked everyone for coming and started to gather her family in for the night.

When they were all gone, the peeping started in again. This time squealing was mixed into the chorus. “Peep”, “Peep-peep”, “Peep-peep-peep”, and “Peep-peep-peep-peep” went the four. Then there was the happy sound of the new arrival, “Squeal!”

Mother Chicken loved her entire family. One, Two, Three, Four were yellow and peeped. Five was white and grey; and squealed.  She knew that one day they all would become five beautiful full-grown chickens; well she wasn’t sure about Chick Five but she loved him just the same.

Chapter One:

The Mysterious Snoring Egg

In the distance, Daddy Rooster crows, announcing a new day as the sun rises on Farmer Frank’s Farm.

Mother Chicken lives in a henhouse which is the smaller rustic shed next to the chicken coop. There is a broken down “chicken pen” but it is so worn down it hardly looks like a fence so all the chickens are allowed to hunt and peck everywhere out on the farm.

Mother Chicken became hungry and wanted to leave the henhouse to scratch in the dusty farmyard and find some food to eat. Before leaving, she made sure that One, Two, Three and Four were all there, all the same size and all quietly sleeping in their shells. She covered One, Two, Three and Four with straw to keep them warm while she would be gone.

Wormy the worm also lived in the hen house. He enjoyed watching life as it happened from his darkened corner so as not be Mother Chicken’s lunch.

After all four eggs were accounted for, Mother Chicken quickly ran out of the henhouse to find something to eat. She did not want to be away too long from One, Two, Three and Four.

She said “Hello” to Timothy Turkey as she scurried by. She politely said “Hello” to Pinky the mother pig, who was busily feeding her new pile of piglets.

Brutus the bull and Ink Spot the cow saw Mother Chicken running by. “She certainly is a chicken with a purpose”, they told each other. They stopped chewing to tell their young heifer Mini to say “Good day”, as it was the neighborly thing to do.

Mary the mare was grooming her little Colt Stevey, as Mother Chicken raced by; they both said “Hi”.

Now with all of the greetings were done, Mother Chicken ran all she could. Mother Chicken found and ate all that she could. Then she ran back to the hen house as fast as she could.

Mother Chicken soon returned and uncovered the straw very carefully to check on her eggs. She counted One, Two, Three and Four; she counted very carefully. They were are there, safe and sound.

A new day was born when Daddy Rooster announced the rising sun. As always, before Mother Chicken left the henhouse to scratch for her breakfast, she counted and gave her love to One, Two, Three and Four.

One, Two, Three and Four were the same color. One, Two, Three and Four were the same size. One, Two, Three and Four were all there; quietly sleeping in their shells. She lovingly covered them all with straw.

Mother Chicken then ran down the chicken ramp, and being especially hungry she passed Timothy Turkey, passed Pinky, and totally ignoring Harold. Before they all could ask the same questions that they always asked, she told Up and Down that, “Yes all was fine with One, Two, Three and Four”. She then added that it was almost time for One, Two, Three and Four to hatch!”

After eating all that she could eat, Mother Chicken returned to her dusty henhouse. Right away she noticed … something had changed.

There they were, One, Two, Three and Four; and …five?

She counted again, One, Two, Three and Four.  And…yes, there was an extra egg; Egg Five! Egg five was a different color and egg five was much bigger. And there it was, sitting right in the middle of eggs One, Two, Three and Four.

And egg five was not sleeping quietly. Egg five was not quiet at all. Egg five snored!
