“52 to Living New” WEEK ONE

If you are here, you probably have heard of or are a part of this 52 week series of "assignments" which I introduced HERE. Or, perhaps you've stumbled upon them. To start at the very beginning, please visit here.

52 Weeks “52 to Living New” WEEK ONE

With the start of the new year (not necessarily the “New Year”), many people reflect on the past year and the future 12 months which are before them. Your WEEK ONE can start the very first week of January, or the very first week of any major life event such as graduating, getting married, starting a new career or job, even moving to another location. You choose. I will tell you that right now is the best time to start.

I’m going to keep these “assignments” short and simple; but not necessarily “easy” because of course, that’s how we grow.

  1. Write down (up to) 10 things which were “bummers” which happened in the last 12 months.
  2. Now write down (up to) 10 things which were good or great things which happened the last 12 months.
  3. Finally, write down (up to) 10 things you want to do, be or have within the next 12 months.
That’s it, simple right? This exercise will help you to beware of the things which happened, both good and not so good, and set you on a course of change by doing things different in the following 12 months!

Note that I stated to write “up to 10” things because I don’t want you to “sweat this”. Simply write down what you remember and come back and fill in more as you remember them. Feel free to write down more than 10.

Your commitment and comments that you leave helps me to remain committed to creating these 52 assignments so let’s keep each other accountable!
Return here in a few days to see the new QR code and link to the WEEK TWO if it isn’t below. And please, resist the temptation to move forward when you haven’t completed a full 7 days contemplating on the current week’s assignment.

Ter Scott!
